Experience
I have been tutoring on and off for at least 15 years. I have tutored students who were as young as 5 years old, all the way through college students. I enjoy helping others learn, and think it is a great accomplishment when I can help others in feeling more self confident in their schooling, regardless of age or grade. I have taken many teaching and learning classes, and am very aware of the different types of learners, as well as the various ways people learn. I am also a "people person", and love working with students. I was a Kindergarten teacher from 2004-2014, and still work in the education industry. I have high recommendations from everyone I have worked with and for. Teaching is a passion of mine, and now that I am mostly in the admin. field of education, I would really like to also still do some teaching on the side, and tutoring is a perfect way of doing so.
