As a tutor, I bring significant knowledge of Kinesiology and skills as a teacher, research investigator, and student. I have taken all of the mandatory courses for Kinesiology, plus electives in Statistics, Sports Psychology, Strength and Conditioning, and Endocrinology. I can tutor Anatomy, Biology, Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Physiology, Study Skills and Organization, Gifted Students, Nutrition, Life Sciences, and Science.When I was a graduate assistant, I taught labs in Strength and Conditioning, Exercise Physiology, Exercise Testing and Prescription for Healthy and Clinical Populations, and Anatomy. My research investigator experience allowed me to work on jobs related to Sports Psychology, Human Performance, and Cardiology. I have also worked on projects that studied the relationship of burnout, sleep, and performance in female collegiate runners. This involved the study of psychological contributions to performance. We presented the results to The New England Chapter of the American College of Sports Medicine.For my master's thesis, I am conducting a study in cooperation with the nutrition department at the University of Rhode Island on how caffeine affects power production. In my spare time, I enjoy hockey, exercise, and music.
