Experience
I have four Years Tutoring Experience in: SAT/ACT English, Writing, and Reading, SSAT Verbal and Writing AP Language and Composition AP Literature and Composition Spanish College Essays School Essays Creative Writing Expository Writing I always say that my favorite part of the tutoring experience, and the reason I continue to tutor, is the students. Standardized tests can feel formulaic to everyone--students, parents, teachers--but I've found that students' unique perspectives and diverse learning styles always keep the experience fresh and enlightening. Outside of standardized testing, I greatly enjoy tutoring for all manners of writing and reading. I have always found reading to be a personal joy, and helping students to understand and analyze literature always feels like opening a door to new worlds. Helping students to express themselves in writing is also a great joy to me because I know they are learning to communicate their valuable and creative ideas to the world, a skill that they will use throughout their lives.
